Shaker Tape

Please note that a chair that previously had Shaker Tape can also accomodate Fibre Rush, Danish Cord, or Reed seats if the client so desires.

Shaker Tape should not be used on a chair that will set in direct sunlight as this will cause the color to fade.

It's available in the colors of Blue, Beige, Black, Cranberry, Hunter Green, Natural, Olive Drab, Raffia, Red, Rust Pumpkin, Teal Blue, Butternut, Gray, Cranberry with Beige Stripe, Olive Drab with Black Edge Stripe, and Red & Olive Drab Stripe.  It's also available in either the 1-inch width or 5/8-inch width.  All colors aren't always available in both sizes, so check for availability.

The seat can be woven in all one color or in two colors.  The Shakers traditionally wove it in Red and White in a Checkerboard Pattern.

This seat is typically woven with a foam pad between the two layers.

This is Shaker Tape in the Teal Blue Color and 1-inch width in a Checkerboard pattern. 

Shaker Tape in Hunter Green and Natural in the 1-inch width in a Herringbone pattern.

Shaker Tape in Gray color and Cranberry with Black Stripe in a 5/8-inch width woven in a Diamond pattern.

Shaker Tape in Gray and Raffia Colors in a 1-inch width woven in an X pattern.
